We're excited to welcome one new graduate student and seven undergraduate student researchers to the team this fall! Josh will be joining the eLev lab to pursue his PhD in developing methods to increase the robustness of bearingless motors for critical applications. Our undergrads will be assisting the grad students with their research, pursuing their own independent projects, and helping with ongoing lab work on topics ranging from next generation motor drive control, sensing, and wide bandgap electronics to superconducting magnetic bearings and bearingless motor prototyping. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone’s contributions and the progress we’ll make together!
